Finding Things

Now you know how to find a web page once you've learned its URL, but how can you find information on the Web about some person, place, or thing if you don't know the URL at which this information resides?

The answer to this question is clearly crucial to the utilization of the Web for educational (or other) purposes. As we shall now see, there are some very powerful and efficient ways to find things on the Web.
