Michigan City Mainstreet Association
Promoting Pride and Progress in Michigan City's Historic Downtown

The activities of the Association include:

The Farmers Market
Each Saturday morning from May through October. Find fresh produce, flowers, and specialty items are available from area farmers. Located at the corner of Eighth and Washington Streets. Operates 8:00 a.m. through Noon. Entertainment, cooking demonstrations, bake sales and other activities add to the fun.

Yuletide Splendor
The Snowflake Parade (Sunday, December 8, 2023) Yuletide Buffet, and Caroling at the Library Plaza and other special events are all part of the Association's Yuletide Splendor festivities in Downtown Michigan City.

Peru Amateur Circus
This nationally recognized troupe of young performers will return to perform their skills on the trapeze, high wire, trampoline, and to demonstrate other circus skills as part of Mainstreet's contribution to help kickoff The Summer Festival.
